Today is my little boys birthday (although he’s not so little anymore) so a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY COREY!  Hope you have a great day, you gorgeous boy.

11 years of fun, laughter, fighting, yelling, love, cuddles, all the things that come with gorgeous boys.  Thanks for being part of our life and certainly keeping it interesting   we love you lots and lots and lots.

It’s been 5½ weeks now since Kaiba passed away but he is still in our thoughts every single day.  Yesterday I spent the whole day putting photos into a slideshow and then trying to work out how to convert it to a video.  I finally managed to get it done, although the quality isn’t that great as it didn’t convert over all that well.  But I’ve spent way too many hours working on this so this is the best I can do.

I’ve added our favourite song as this is the song that we first heard and liked when we were in Darwin on our 6 month trip and we have lots of memories of Kaiba on that trip, so for us this song has a lot of meaning and so is the perfect song to tribute to our big puppy dog.

I didn’t get either of the jobs that I went for interviews for and the first one I wasn’t at all disappointed in as I didn’t get a good vibe about it and wasn’t real sure that I really wanted to work there.  The second job though I would have liked so that is a bit disappointing.

I have applied for another job today although I’ll be surprised if I even get an interview as they want someone with retail experience which I don’t have, but how am I supposed to get experience if I can’t get a job.  Every job advertised wants someone with experience.  I have been a full time, stay at home mother for the last 12 years so any experience I did have is quite a long time ago now and so now I just basically don’t have any experience.

We got Ben’s school placement notification on Friday and he got into the school that we had as our first choice.  Problem is, his best friend didn’t get in.  Ben is just beside himself, he is so upset and doesn’t want to go to that school now because he wont know anyone there.

I really don’t know what to do, out of the schools in this area, this school is the best school academically and Ben’s grades aren’t the best so we really feel that he would do much better at this school.  He really doesn’t want to go though and is really upset about it.

This is my favourite song EVER!  I just love this song.  I first heard this song when we were on our trip up in Darwin, so it kind of became our ‘Darwin’ song.

Love it!  Brandi Carlile has such a great voice.  This is the Grey’s Anatomy video with the song, I figured I’d go with the Grey’s Anatomy one since that’s one of my favourite shows too!
